Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê sent 500 thousands Euro and 30 thousands Dollars financial support in accordance with the emergent support campaign started for the people of Şirnex.
As it is known that Turkish State has killed hundreds of people in many cities and urban areas, and destroyed towns and cities into the ruins in North Kurdistan by very inhuman attacks for the last one year.
The state forces have declared months-dated curfews in the cities of Ferqin, Cizîr, Sûr, Nisêbîn, Gever, Şirnex, Silopî, Hezex, and Kerboran. By this way, they have prevented the inhabitants to achieve their core necessities like water, food, electricity, and health. In this context of ruining all the infrastructure, houses and shops and offices, they have forced the inhabitants of these cities to emigrate and, thus humanly cleaning of these environments.
The curfew which has started in Şirnex province center on 14 March 2016 for more than 7 months has already gone on. On the other hand, Turkish state forces has continued to ruin all dwellings and houses without interested in whether they were damaged or not in 9 neighbourhoods.
Due to the these attacks of Turkish State, approximately 4700 families were forced to emigrate to the closing villages and towns. They have tried to survive under very hard circumstances like in the tents and barracks. Yet Turkish security forces attacked and destroyed all the tents at the one of these places called Avgamasya region for moving these people from there to the further lands.
We, as the Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê charity organization, have considered our main and core humanitarian and ethical responsibility and duty to take care of these people’s survival problems. We can not stay silent against these quite tragic situation of Sirnex’s people, especially during the very hard and diffucult winter conditions. Based on this consideration, for the first stage of our support campaign 500 thousands Euro and 30 thousands Dollars were sent as the financial aid in order to provide them the core daily life necessities. These sorts of our aids are going to continue increasingly.
Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê had sent 3 millions and 7 thousands Euro financial aid to the people whose dwellings and houses were ruined and destroyed by Turkish State in many towns of North Kurdistan. In total, with this last aid, our support achieved over to the 3 millions 507 thousands Euro and 30 thousands US Dollars.
Our financial aid and sibling family campaign for solidarity with Sirnex people have continued. We kindly request and call from all Kurdistani people and charitable people to be responsive about our campaigns and to participate our supports.
