Our aid organization Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê has been running health projects for around thirty years to ensure health care for those in need. Now Camp Maxmûr has been equipped with X-ray machines.
As Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê, we have provided important medical equipment for the hospital in the self-governing Maxmur refugee camp in southern Kurdistan as part of our health project. It is an x-ray machine and two other machines necessary for x-rays, valued at $58,000.
In Camp Maxmûr, around 13,000 refugees live in precarious health conditions due to an embargo and constant attacks. Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê has been running health projects for around thirty years to ensure health care for the needy. As part of these projects, hospitals were set up in war zones and regions plagued by poverty and equipped with medicines, ambulances and medical equipment. If necessary, our aid organization also covers the costs of medical treatment and carries out solidarity campaigns.
